1. General Policy Overview
Sasti Air Ticket (A Unit of Om Sai Travels) acts as an intermediary travel facilitator. All cancellation and refund requests are subject to the rules and policies of the respective service provider — airlines, hotels, visa authorities, transport operators, etc. Our service charges are non-refundable under all circumstances.
2. Flight Ticket Cancellation
- All flight cancellations are governed by the rules of the respective airline
- Cancellation charges vary by airline, fare type, and time before departure
- Non-refundable fares (promo, sale, special discount) cannot be refunded by the airline
- Refundable fares: cancellation charges typically range from 25% to 75% of fare
- Last-minute cancellations (within 24-48 hours of departure) may incur higher charges
- No-show cases are non-refundable in most airlines
- Our service charge of ₹250-500 per passenger is non-refundable
3. Hotel Booking Cancellation
- Free cancellation timelines depend on the specific hotel and rate type booked
- Most hotels: free cancellation 7-14 days before check-in
- Non-refundable rates: no refund will be processed under any circumstance
- Peak season bookings (Dec-Jan, May-Jun): typically 30 days advance cancellation required
- Hotel cancellation charges may vary from 25% to 100% of total amount
- Our service charge of ₹500 per booking is non-refundable
4. Holiday Package Cancellation
Cancellation charges for holiday packages depend on the time of cancellation:
- 30+ days before travel: 25% of total package amount
- 15-29 days before travel: 50% of total package amount
- 7-14 days before travel: 75% of total package amount
- Less than 7 days: 100% (No refund)
- No-show or after travel start: No refund
ℹ️ Note: Some destinations and seasonal packages (Char Dham, Amarnath, peak season holidays) may have stricter cancellation policies. Specific terms will be communicated at the time of booking.
5. Visa Application — Non-Refundable Items
The following visa-related charges are strictly non-refundable:
- Embassy/consulate visa fees (paid directly to authorities)
- VFS Global / BLS service charges
- Document attestation and translation costs
- Our visa processing service charge (₹500-2,500 per application)
- Travel insurance premium
If your visa is rejected, the embassy fee is not refunded. Only any unutilized portion (if any) may be refunded.
6. Travel Insurance Cancellation
- Travel insurance premium is non-refundable once the policy is issued
- Policy can be cancelled within 15 days (free-look period) if not yet started, with 80-90% refund
- Once travel begins, no refund is possible
- Claim refunds (medical etc.) follow the insurance company's claim process
7. Train, Bus, and Taxi Cancellation
- Train tickets: Cancellation as per IRCTC rules and timelines
- Bus tickets: Cancellation rules of respective bus operator apply
- Taxi/Cab: Cancellation policy varies by operator and time before pickup
- Our service charges (if any) are non-refundable
8. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a cancellation is approved, the refund timelines are:
- Flight refunds: 7-21 working days (depends on airline)
- Hotel refunds: 7-15 working days
- Package refunds: 15-30 working days
- Visa refunds (where applicable): 15-30 working days
- Bank/payment gateway delays may add 3-7 additional days
Refunds are processed to the original mode of payment used at booking. We will share a refund reference number once the refund is initiated.
9. How to Request Cancellation

- Include: Name, Booking ID, Travel Date, and reason for cancellation
- We will calculate cancellation charges and share the refund amount within 24-48 hours
- Once approved, refund will be initiated as per the timelines above
10. Force Majeure / Government Restrictions
In case of cancellations due to:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, cyclones)
- Government travel restrictions or advisories
- Pandemic / health emergency
- War, civil unrest, or terror attacks
- Airline / hotel operational closure
The refund amount, if any, will depend solely on what the service providers (airline/hotel/etc.) refund to us. Sasti Air Ticket cannot guarantee any specific refund amount in such cases.
11. Date Change / Rescheduling
- Date change is generally allowed but subject to availability and rules of the service provider
- Date change charges (paid to airline/hotel) plus our service charge of ₹500-1000 per change
- Difference in fare/rate (if any) is payable by the customer
12. No-Show Policy
If a passenger does not show up for the booked service (flight, hotel check-in, train, etc.) without prior cancellation, the booking is treated as a No-Show. Refund is generally not possible in such cases. Some airlines may refund applicable taxes/fees only.
13. Service Charges (Always Non-Refundable)
The following service charges levied by Sasti Air Ticket are non-refundable in all situations including cancellations:
- Flight booking service fee
- Hotel reservation service fee
- Visa processing service fee
- Package handling service fee
- Convenience fee, payment gateway charges
- Communication and documentation charges
14. Disputes and Resolution
Any disputes regarding cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. The jurisdiction for any legal matters is the courts of Infront of Bareilly Furniture Mart, Near Police Choki, Chawar Gate, Hathras, Uttar Pradesh 204101, India.
